If you have a weekend coming up that you would like added to the Palanca list, you will need to fill out the "Register Weekend" form.  The page can be found at:

http://www.3dayol.org/Register_Weekend.html

This page will give you any current information about the request form.  At this time, my ISP does not allow for input forms to return the information, but I will be switching ISP's so I can do all of the work without having to rely on the free sites.  This page currently serves as a jump point to the another page that will input for information.

Here is some of the information that will be asked.

Contact name and e-mail address:

I collect this information so I can contact you if there are any questions about the request.  When I update the list with your request, this is the address where I will send the confirmation notice.

Weekend information:

The form will input the information of up to four (4) weekends at a time.   All of the information that you input below this section, will be applied to each of the weekends.

The more specific information you provide, the more specific the prayers and palanca letters you will receive.

Community information:

Community Request Information:

This a name and address that can be used to send palanca letters through the mail service.

Web Site information:

This is a web site that I can use for the Community listings pages so others can find your web site.  I see many requests for communities when people move.   I am hoping to make a list that will assist in location of communities for people unfamiliar with the area.

E-Mail Information:

This is an e-mail address that can be used to send palanca letters through electronic mail.

Graphical Information:

This is one of the more mysterious options that you will find on the list, especially for newcomers.  This is an indication if you can receive letters that can be printer on a color printer.

To use this option, you will need to be able to do the following:

  • You MUST have the ability to receive e-mail attachments.   All of the graphical palanca will be sent this way.  If you do not know if you can receive e-mail attachments, drop a line to me at bwong@attglobal.net and I will send you a test.
  • Receive files that are sometimes quite large.  I have seen files up to 2MB in size.  Most are no larger than 500K.  Also, if you are using a free account such as Juno or Yahoo or and other that restricts the size of you incoming mail, you need to be aware that a couple of really large palanca letters can quickly overflow your mailbox.
  • Receive files with graphical information.  Currently, the majority of these sort of files are Microsoft Word format.  Other formats that are less popular, but I have seen are: Microsoft Powerpoint, JPEG and BMP format.  I have another tutorial that contains information on how to read other formats.
  • Color printers are actually optional.  The problem is that you are not going print the wonderful colorful letters and will be left with letters that are in shades of gray.  Not as nice, but still works.
Comments:

Any specific comments you wish to leave to help others in prayer for the weekend or delivery requirements for palanca can be listed here.  Also, you can provide specific information about the weekend can be added here.

Please remember that these lists are e-mailed to others, so try not to make the comments too large.
